no, 600 a month is only the insurance. I currently pay 270/month for my silverado ... which is actually more expensive than the truck payment!

The reason it's so high for me is my age. I'm just under 2 weeks before i turn 21. My driving record is perfect! 2 tickets -speeding and improper stop (4 years ago, off my record now). No accidents, DUI's, reckless drivings, NO NOTHING! And here I thought age discrimination was illegal ... apparently not.
Camo: I have friend who's son totaled a car and wrecked his own truck, all in one year, and his insurance is 150.00 per month. Has it with Nationwide. He can only drive his vehicle, not his parents...age?....will be 19 in Feb.Somethings wrong with your picture....hell, I know what it is!.......smoking,will do it every time! LOL

That still doesn't answer the question. Why is it more than double to insure a diesel powered truck?

That's all I can tell you, because that's all I know. I don't work for the ins. companies... I don't like being phucked over, but I've called so many different insurance companies it's not funny ...

And willie, it can't be about smoking. If it was that, your insurance would be sky high compared to mine because you smoke another man's d!ck everynight. I wonder how you're wife would feel.

you might be a redneck if you say "Gun show was full today, ammo going out the door. Bought 900 rnds of 223 lake city brass, for 450.00.. "

The only thing possible I see is that they group all diesel trucks together in you're state. Are they registered commercial or what.We have diesel cars here that get low registration and insurance rates, because of economy.

no, they don't group them all in one. It's just because im a 20 yr old male... which to me is sexist, and age discrimination. I thought both those were illegal?
