285,000+ on my 2002. You got a ways to go...lol. I'd still haul trailers cross country with it in a heartbeat. Still strong as an ox and constant as the North Star.

I love it....been pretty reliable so far. Not the fastest around but if I wanted fast I would have bought a car.

those 7.3's are bullet proof!

Just last weekend I went and checked out a 2004 F-250 Super duty. Truck was clean as hell, only had 72,000 miles on it. nice 8" suspension lift with 38's on it. But the suspension was a BDS, which I don't like at all. Damn good deal too, till I found out it was a 6.0 ... I walked away after that.

SIDE NOTE!!!

Then I went and looked at an STI .. had 1000 miles on a brand new motor. I told the sales man right out I wanted to see paper work for the motor, and all the reciepts from subaru - he misteriously lost them. Then I said the drive train was beat to ****, and he didn't want to hear it. (new motor in a 2006 STI .. obviously it was beat/launched a lot!) He insisted it was perfectly fine, so i said I want a 1 yr warranty on the drive train .. he wouldn't budge so once again i walked away laughing at him.

Those 7.3's are very reliable and can be built into a beast.I had an 04 f-250 4x4 HD edition with the 6.0 with chip, exhaust, and airfilter/intake. It was a beast, very fast but started to act up and I had seen others with lots of problems on their 6.0's.So I traded mine for my charger before mine went bad.I shoulda did more research before I had bought it,but I wanted the harley edition and didn't check anything else.

My neighbor has Dodge 2500 with a Banks blower, and chip, with the trans.upgrade, that truck will pull with most4X4's and leave them looking for power. Its one of the best combos I've seen. Will squall the tires when you fire it up!

Just had to change the ICM modual , on my 02 work truck. Had to remove left inner fender well to get at it. $600 bucks to replace. Electronics, made in Brazil something to be proud of Ford.

my point exactly what i said at the start of this that the 7.3 with the cast iron rods are bullet proof engines! and a blown 5.4 is fast in truck remember the ford lightning? but for a normaly aspirated engine i want the 5.8 they are a pretty solid gas engine not fast by any means but just a good solid truck motor
