Did he get to replace ball joints? Used to be you couldnt just buy the ball joints. You had to replace the complete a-arm assembly. We used to take em in trade sometimes. If there was 30K miles or more, they needed replacement. I do like the styling of them though. I'll give Dodge that much. They are aesthetically pleasing.

The Irony of all this,is my friend always bought new Dodge anything, trucks, cars, vans, etc. He does a maintain his vehicles, and keeps then very clean. I really don't know all the story about the Durango. Speed wasn't the problem,it was the running gear. I do know his son had a Dodge 1500 P/U that had frame flexing problems, and had to take his big tires off(33's). Ford does build a good frame for the 150. Both those guys bought new Chevy's last year, and want to dump them also, one had oil pressure problems and the other had tarnny problems.

Your truck not looking fast is not bad thing, I was just messin with you again.lol.I think your truck looks nice,I have an 05 2wd 4.6 v8. I was just saying it doesn't look fast but looks don't always mean anything.I would have to atleast shoot that gun once if it was me,it does look cool and I have not seen one of those before.

Weve had, here at work, good luck with both GM and Ford. We had work trucks here, a Tahoe, with 212,000 miles on it, sold and the rest of the history iis unknown, but at the time of its sale, the biggest thing it had done was routine, wearable items. Same thing with 2 f-150s we had. One had 150,---, the other was 185,000 or so. Both nothing major, other than the frecon plugs blowing out of the head a few times. SUcks because it would take out the coil pack when it did it. The only complaint I had was ford not steppin up to the plate and admitting a problem. Myself, my luck with ford (other than an 89 escort wagon) has not been good. I had an Expedition that had Tranny issues, and an 01 v10 4x4 excursion that was developing them, both with way under 100,000 miles on the clock. My other complaint with the excursion was just general build quality. While the expedition was pretty quiet, the excursion would rattle, interrior trim was coming off, the seat heaters sucked, just not well put together. I sure liked that engine though!
