either way im not willing to pay 45-60K for a new truck........
these companys only have them selves to blame for going under
i also say if you going to have a US name build it HERE in the US
and the 5.4 is a fast reliable engine but my fav gas engine by ford is the 5.8!
my next truck is going to be a F-250 with the 7.3 diesel with the cast iron rods!
My 2005 FX4 has the 5.4 ,and I added duals and a K&N cold air intake. This truck makes all the power I need, and the sound is awesome. I paid 26,000.00 otd in March of 2006.Sticker on the window, was 35,003.00. Navy Blue Step Side. I put clearance lights on the cab, plus a cow catcher on the front. I pull trailers, campers, and tractors, with no problems. One of best trucks I have ever owned. My daily driver is a Jeep Liberty, and love it for zipping around town.

Baring a technical disscussion about advantages of 2 into 1 into 2 vs. true duals vs. duals with an H pipe. We always called a Y-pipe type dual exhaust "Fual" (pronounced "fool") exhaust, impling "fake" duals.

True duals have seperate headers, and the pipes don't go 2-1-2.

The re-trax is a nice system, I was thinking about getting it for my truck (thanks for pointing it out to me in the past)

So in other words, you don't know what's done to it exactly? I mean, it's not like it's some kind of fast ass car that someone would bother stealing, it's only a truck.

Cam Burger!!!....like your new name....?I know exactly what was done to my truck, the old(new)Pipes were cut away and a new set of duals with new cans were installed, great sound and performance. When this FX4 is fired up ,folks in the know, stand and stare!Deep throat low roar(Over head Cam) sounds like "Lion".And when you punch it,it winds up with a "scream"!!!THe air horn on the K&M is outstanding, the sound is like a F-18.VaaaaaaaaaaaaaaRooooooooooooooooommmmmmm
