I don't see guns going away anytime soon in this country, the liberals might throw a few hurdles here and there (brady bill) but nothing serious, i mean c'mon they just can't strip the 2nd amendment out of the contitution just cause they feel like it, it is a very touchy and delicate subject for the government to handle right now, and Obama knows it.

The Dems are attempting to sneak in a bill that would require registration of ALL firearms now, TTP. The house has already drafted such a bill. As was seen in Germany in the '30s, registration is the first step to confiscation. Just as with the Health care bill, and the Energy bill, it is what you don't see that will hurt you. Why is it, do you think, they want to vote on bills with no debate, no reading? They are trying to circumvent the Constitution in every way they can, since it means NOTHING to these modern Progressive Liberals. They see it as a blocking device to their ideas of what the USA should be, a socialist state in which they control our lives, our freedoms.
We all need to wake up to what these morons are trying to do.

Well boys and girls I have had concealment licence for about 7 yrs now and the Ruger double action in a 4 1/2 barrel in .357 magnum might be a bit much !
But I can legally hunt with it and have got 3-1/2 groups at 100 yards in with five shots. Hi-shock federal hollow points in 125 grain bullets.
The need for speed and knock down capabilities is a plus in a 357 mag.
This government is not going to be like Australia when they passed a bill to disarm their citizens, we have to many willing to uphold the 2nd Amendment rights of the people for which it was made for to guard against tyranny and I believe their is a whole lotta people out there that will stand-up for their rights.
