I need help with which brand i should get and where i live we have some very nasty off roading with tons and tons of sagebrush so i want a very good off roading atv that can handle and go through just about anything, heres the brand names and the models i was thinking of but please share your thoughts.

Arctic Cat:
Now with Arctic cat i was thinking of the thunder cat 1000 h2 due to some reviews saying its engine is fanstic but i have also heard the can-am outlander 800's can easily beat the thunder cat.

Can-am:
With the can-am i was thinking of getting the outlander 800 EFI for its very powerful engine but i have also heard that after some time these outlanders 08 models tend to overheat, do the 09 or the 10 models have over heating problems as well?

Polaris:
Now i havent heard much on the polaris so i cant say much about this brand but if i do get one i was thinking of the full size sportsman 800 efi or the xterme performence sportsman 850 xp efi

Now PLEASE!!! share all your thoughts, comments, suggestions, and ideas. if you have a differnt brand or model please tell me and feel free to put what ever comes to your mind

From what ive seen the Thundercat and the Renegade seem to be about even. Who ever gets the hole shot wins. The Renegade beats the Outlander so i dont think the Outlander is going to beat the Thundercat but its not far behind. The Outlander 800 seems to be neck and neck with the new Polaris 850. If AC could shave some pounds from this giant kitty it would be the way i would go. That way i could get a sticker that says "YEAH ITS GOT A HEMI". I have yet to ride any of these machines so im not sure on the ride or handling. Check on youtube and you will find some drag races between some of these machines.

A friend of mine tried out the new 850 Xp and the Thundercat this weekend and he says the Polaris has a better ride but he also said he thinks the Polaris is faster which i know its not. He has an old Polaris 425 Magnum and swears all the time about the thing being a piece of******but yet still says Polaris is the best.

I say try em all and get the one that feels best for you. You will be happy with any selection you have listed.

I have not had any seat time on any of those machines,so I can-not give any input on wich is better. But like 1badbanshee said,go sit on them and really look them over and also compare thier specs and see the different pros vs cons each may have. Everybody has their own opinion, but that doesn't mean you will like what the next guy likes.

I have an outlander max 800...and it is awesome!! I feel like I am drive the luxury atv, comfy, raw power, dependable, it just love it. I have never had an overheating problem or any problem at all (2k miles and counting).
