Im looking at buying my first dirtbike, and ive found good deals on the 97 kx125 and 98yz125. Ive always wanted a dirtbike so i figured what the hell ill buy one. I know nothing about them so it would help me out big time if any one else does. Which is faster, lighter, more reliable, and better handling. Im going to be usuing it on tighter trails, that go from sand to rocks. Any feedback would help me out.

i can help you first off how long have you been riding atv's and have you ever even ridden a dirt bike before and how tall and how much do you weigh because if your over 5-7 and a 140lb i would consider a 250.... i dont have much experince with the KX but i have alot of experince with the YZ and CR and overall i would look for a CR..... and how much $$ can you spend if you dont mind me asking?
