One of the biggest thing that is making the American dollar go down is all the exports we buy. I heard a statistic that says something like for every cargo ship that comes to America 3 leave empty.

But that isn't the worst stat. For every one we export, 14 are imported.
That is the dollar killer. And the fact that crude is traded in dollars.
The higher crude goes, the lower the dollar goes. And the deficit, of course. The higher the deficit gets, the less confidence international currency traders will have in the dollar, and the lower the bids for the dollar.
Now, before all you Liberals start screaming about Bushy Boy causing the massive deficit, I will remind you that the Democrap controlled CONGRESS are the ones passing the spending bills. Then Bushy Boy signs them, so THEY ARE BOTH AT FAULT FOR THE DEFICIT. I blame all of our Federal government for it, not just one party or the other. Our government is out of control and needs to be replaced, starting with Congress. We need to sweep the "good ole boys" who have been there for 30-40 years out of office first, since they hold the real power. Then one at a time get rid of them all and replace them with fresh faces who owe no one political favors.

Oh yeah, That was the stat I was thinking of. I knew it was a lot more but couldn't remember it off the top of my head.( I didn't remember it completely so I knowingly said it conservatively)

Every time a ship comes to this country,it sails with a cargo for a foreign destination. Its called a backhaul.

Let's see: shall we start with the mortgage crisis and the failing mortgage lenders that the Feds are buying up and bailing out?
It was a DEMOCRAP CONTROLLED CONGRESS, during the CLINTON administration, that passed laws requiring mortgage lenders to give home loans to low income people who couldn't afford them, or were too expensive for their incomes. It was CONGRESS who ignored the warning in 2002 by leading economists that this crisis was coming, and that their laws on mortgages needed to be amended. It was CONGRESS that upped the Federal mortgage guarantees to homes costing almost 1/2 a million dollars, meaning "we the people" will have to bail them out when times get tough.
So, now we have people losing their homes to bankruptcy and repossession, thanks largely to a DEMOCRAP CONGRESS, and BILLIONS of dollars (OUR dollars) being spent correcting the situation! A typical LIBERAL response: If something don't work, throw more money at it. It still won't work, we will just "feel good" about it. And now the Feds OWN the two largest mortgage lenders in the country. Sound like a Socialist plot to anyone?
Next topic? Come on, let's hear the details. I will counter every point you can make with the real facts, since you Kool-aid drinking Liberals don't know the facts, just the hype the Leftist Media gives you. Or are you fully aware it is all hype, and just hate Bushy Boy so much you enjoy spouting the lies?

Domestic trading might cost a few points now but our future is at stake. My wife bought apple juice this week at CVS pharmacy this week.(a local chain). I looked at the container, and it said "product of China". We have hundreds of apple farms here in the Northeast, and we buy juice from China. What's up with that? Buy American.
