Make sure you bring all the necessary tools, it wouldn't be a trip if you don't wrench on your quads for half of the time you are planning to spend up there.
Have a safe trip and bring back lotsa pictures.

how long are you going to be there? i live 45 min away from pismo bring a set of dirt tires as well if you want to ride somewhere else maybe

HAVE FUN! Remember the golden rules:
1. Scout out the riding area before to get on that throttle. That way you'll know which dunes have a 50 foot drop-off on their other side.
2. You never know how deep the puddle is until it's too late.
3. Carry water and really good trail mix.
4. Open up your loops slowly. All dunes look alike until you get to know them.
5. No jumping without a spotter. You never know how many children may be climbing up the other side.
