The best red beans come from Texas.Hog sausage and rice from Arkansas.I love red beans.Anybody got a good recipe?

nah dude, i ain't no redneck, i am one 100% born and raised premium beaner, worth my weight in gas, not a big fan of sausages either, but i enjoy my fair share at when i eat at denny's.

We used to cook some great beans and rice and tortillas,by the camp fire at our deer lease in south Texas.Brackettville,close to Laredo.John Wayne made the movie "Alamo" outside the town

Red beans and rice is a cajun meal made famous with Blackened Fish!!! Add cushcush and you have a cajun feast. I grew up in South Louisiana and that was a staple.
