Well I made it to the dunes! They were small, but it was fun! Some of the hills were big and fun. Took part in some impromt sand drags and it wasn't good. I lined up against a built honda 450R and lost. The drag strip was about 300 feet long and she got me out of the hole (yes I did say SHE) and I couldn't catch her. I will have to say she was the coolest woman I have ever met! I did beat a banshee, so that cheered me up! It was pretty crazy on saturday out there, people everywhere! It was great! I'm already planning my trip out west to the bigger dunes! Oh and I did crash! My friend took off in front of me, so I decided to catch up. I started shifting through the gears, just about caught up to him and I was riding a wheelie in third gear. Just as I set the front end down and pinned it, he turned right in front of me! Nothing I could do, I hit him right in the side at about 40mph. I went over the bars and landed about 20-30 feet away and he managed to stay on! I went right over him! I walked away un hurt and he ended up with a cracked rib from my handle bars! The crazy thing was my Raptor only suffered a smashed front rim and a dent in the bumper. His Z400 was smashed, I crushed his foot peg into the frame with the heel guard, bent his rear axle, hub, rim. Broke his tierod in half, messed up the plastic and blew his front tire! Crazy! The Raptor is built like a tank! Going to post some pics, don't have many to busy riding!
