Kool aid rocks. It's amazing how that little bitty packet can put so much color into that gallon pitcher. How do they do that?

If you were to stand back and look at this thread objectively, it is an encapsulation of all the regular posters of this forum. If you threw a grenade in this group, there would be nobody left at this site. The question we should be bringing up is how to make this site better for new people to find a home as far as ATV forums. I was put off quite a bit by the way pwillie(reincarnated as snake oil) always would submarine all of the credible threads and go off on one of his everyone is Ghey rants. I've seen many new people start threads, and than after certain posters did their usual, the newbies were never to be heard from again. I think as the Elite members, we should always answer any questions that new members should pose, and in a way police the responses from regular forum members. Most of you have found this thread somewhat entertaining like "Who shot J.R., and that is what we should strive for, but keep it things to spur the interest. I know this is what I look for in this forum.

This is pasted from the thread in "Open Forum" about getting entries in the magazine that I wrote on why they would choose our entry.
"I imagine that one of the motivators for the mag to select ones entry or post, is if it is legible, sensible, actually relays something of value, and is entertaining. I know that leaves out about 97.5% of pwillie entries, and any others that are in response to his nonsense. When we talk about ATVs and related snippets we are on subject and leaving the person who reads the post at least positive about why they came to the forum anyway. The impression that I am left with, is that those on the short list are members that I actually enjoyed reading their posts. Sorry for the reference to you pwillie, but sometimes the truth is painful. "
I think it is good advice about making this forum alive again. But we need to be committed to improving it.

Exactly. He contributes nothing ATV related to the forum.
Hell, PrinceValiant doesnt even own an ATV, and is probably the most helpful tech guy here.

Every thread he (pwille) posted in goes down the w00ter as soon as he shows up. Its no wonder everyone leaves and we get no new members now. No good ATV related treads anymore that can stay on topic. You guys wanna have fun, fine, screw around in the Open/Fight forums. Im tired of good threads getting ruined because of stupid, off topic posts. I dont know how the other moderators feel, but from now on, Im planning on actually keeping threads alive and on topic. So any mindless junk in a good thread will be deleted on site. Fair warning. Keep the BS in the open/fight forums.

Thanks,
Wolverine350rider

I don't see you starting any "good atv related threads". I love how people love to whine about what other people do, but never take it upon themselves to lead the way.

Who said the offending actions did not take place in the open/fight forums? Something you know but not sharing?

Never claimed to start any "good atv related threads". I dont see my post as whining, I see it more as an attempt to motivate other members to forget about pwillie, and start to actually use this forum for what its made for, ATV's, and to help save a dying forum.
Hopefully with the more involvement of the mags and higher powers we can start to get more new members in, But that would be competely worthless if theres nothing useful on this site for them.

Whenever I need info/help with my YFZ, I go to YFZcentral. Theres alot more help there than here (understandably tho, its for YFZ's only). So alot of my time is spent there.

And honestly THEMAN, your right, who knows where the offending actions took place? This I dont know, and I dont know who actually did the banning.

I did however, tell you what I do know. The fact that no one has hit the notify moderator button any time related to pwillie around the time of his banning and non of the active mods here were asked/informed about the banning.

Hopefully this will clear a few things up here.
