Thank you, Yeah I was looking at the Keihin PE 38mm carb and I heard its pretty good. I can't decide which air filter to get, any suggestions? Does it matter what brand of jets I get or would Dyno Jets work?

I also looked at the White Bros E2 exhaust and I like it so I guess it goes up in the running with the other 3.

Uni and K&N are the 2 that just about everyone cheers for. The Uni is a tad better at filtering out fine dust (better protection). Fine dust is not a problem in some places (Dunes..for instance). The K&N offers more air flow. When used in conjunction with a K&N pre-filter, it's almost as good at removing fine dust.

At least...that's pretty much what all the discussions seems to boil down to.

You can use either your stock carb jets or Dyno jets, just be aware the #'s are different, dyno jets home page should be able to list the jets side by side.

Thanks guys, I am kinda leaning on Duncan. They have a package that has a Jet Kit, an exhuast system (Fat Boy 4), and a air filter kit (K&N,Pro Flow flange,Outerwear) for around $600. I called Duncan and asked them where the power goes to on the pipe and they told me that its an all around pipe. They say that package has 15-20% gain in HP. The Yoshi with Dyno Jets and an Air Filter kit is around $610. The White Bros E2 with the Header is around $620. The FMF Powercore 4 with the Hi-Flo Header is around $450.

one thing about the dyna-jet kit is the needles are really tapered and work best when running WFO and they hessitate and bog in the mid range but duncan racing makes some nice stuff
