All the big bores run warm, especially the big singles. I found a way to keep them running cool, but I don't know if I'd recommend it for everyone.

Liquid Cooling for Big-Bores
It's Air Cooled with a oil cooler.but you ice water would work

Yeah I know...I had one. Runs hot, but never really "overheated". That 600 is a pretty solid thumper. Biggest issue I had with mine is you simply could not keep rear brakes in the thing. They are cable actuated, poorly sealed drum units..........ugh. Also, if you plan to ride rugged terrain, invest in some good aluminum a-arm protection for the front end. I horseshoed two sets of a-arms on rocks. I have been through the same trails with every machine I have owned before, or since....from Banshees to Bayous. I never bent an a-arm on any machine I have owned other than that Grizzly.

I will say this though, that 600 loved to climb, and actually was a very very good jumper for a 635 pound machine.

25" ITP Mudlite XTRs
Uni Air Filter
93 Octane Irving Gas
Dielectric grease
Fresh air in tires monthly
4.6 psi in tires instead of reccommended 4.5
Totalled Red King to get prettier Yellow King
Amsoil synthetics
Anodized aluminum valve stem caps
