There are two AC's in my hunting camp, and my Rhino will go places that the AC's will not attempt.I didn't believe it either until last year when the logging crews tore up our roads....Rhinos or badass machines.......BTW the ACs were 400 and 500

Well I can say that I own two brands and will own no other brands ever unless someone gives me one.

The first ATV I ever purchased was a 1988 Honda 300 4 X 4 great quad the second I purchased was another 300 Honda 4 X 4 in 1999, the third I purchased was a 2007 Arctic Cat 400 Auto Awesome quad as well and in the next week or two I will be purchaseing another Arctic Cat either a 400 or 500.

I made the switch from Honda not because they are bad machines but because they do not serve me as well in big rock country where I currently do all of my riding. Who can compete with the 12 in ground clearance or the Cats and their locker, they are awesome.

I have ridden every brand except the Can Ams, and I can tell you that there are many good quads being built but in my opinion the Arctic Cats are NOW the best and are at the top of the list on innovation, performance and quality.

O by the way I am 100% Pure Polaris for my Snow Machines and I have 4 of them.

Always liked Polaris sleds. Those TRX300s were incredible machines, but I can see where you would want the IRS and GC for rock crawling.

Regarding your last statement about ACs being "the best", I'd be interested to hear what they have over the competition. As far as innovation, beyond the rack system, I don't see where there is anything particularly innovative about their machines. They're big, have a lot of ground clearance, and the only one that handles well at all (compared to the better handlers in class) is the $10,500.00 Thundercat. Not for nothing, but thats a lot of money to fork out for an ATV, when there are others available that would do the job just as well for thousands less (Outty 800, BF750, KQ750, Grizz 700, Sportsman 800). Sure the T-Cat is powerful, but throw a pipe and a programmer on an Outty or BF750, and they will beat it, with a couple grand still left in your pocket for gas.

I still don't think any manufacturer can claim to be the "best", and anyone who thinks they can call a clear winner is working on pure bias. As you can see so far, they always lean towards the brand they own as being the best.

No one can answer this question honestly. There is no such thing as "the best" atv/manufacturer out there. They all have there positives and negatives. It all boils down to rider preference , riding style , budget and what they where brought up on.

I love my polaris' , but others hate it simply because it is a polaris. You will never get a correct answer to this.

Artic Cat is like the old checker cab company, they use a bunch of parts to build a good machine, but when you(the buyer) want to work on it, you need to know whos parts they used to mfg it.I like a lot of the innovations that has been used by 'Cat,but I still want a vehicle with good resale value,Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki have the best resale value.'Cats had some frame problems some time ago.Polaris is a wad of metal, that wants to be loved.
