does anyone in here have any solutions, or other similar stories they'd like to share? i feel like changing my summer vacation plans, if you know what i mean. That stinks! Did you have any type of insurance on the transaction? Contact the administrators of the forum he was dealing through, maybe they will help you, or the very least, prevent him from doing it to someone else. Pay a hacker to infiltrate his computer, unleash a nasty virus, and crash it. I had my American Express card # stolen from me, when the Internet first came out. Someone tried to purchase a Pontiac Trans Am, with it, in Texas. I got a call from some dealership down there, saying you're new car will be available Wednesday. I said, what are you talking about, and said I've never been to Texas. I contacted AE, and they took care of everything. But they tried to slap me with a $50 fee, for the incident. Needless to say, I didn't pay it.

That sucks! I came home one time and my snowmobile was stolen right out of my yard. The Police found it 2 days later wrapped around a tree, I had insurance on it. But come to find out it was someone I knew that stole it, so 4 friends and me went looking for him. Lets just say I haven't had anything stolen again
