I just got back from Little Sahara, Ok. Had a great time. There were five of us from Minnesota. The video is of the two younger guys and I jumping a dune. The first guy jumping is on a V-force, I am not sure how far he went on the that jump but one of his jumps was 84'. Not bad for a guy who has only been riding a year! I am next on a Yfz with Laegers suspension, then my buddies kid on a Predator. I didn't take a lot of pictures, but my friend Doug filmed alot and has some footage of me jumping my Warrior. enjoy...

My Warrior

The weather was usually around 50 degrees so the sand was pretty hard, we had the place mostly to ourselves. On Thursday we saw a Rhino roll over right in front of us and I just happened to have the camera rolling and caught it as it happened. So when I get the disk from my friend I will post that too.

That place makes our dunes look like a litter box. Nice pics.

Nice job. The Warrior looks good too. Its great to see someone who can have just as much fun, without having the newest ATV on the market. So many people today buy brand new machine, and then spend big bucks on mods without ever really needing or making use of them.
You prove day in and day out you can have just as much fun on an older machine.

Thanks, CC. I really enjoy working on it, and its fun to have a "sleeper". Its got alot of power compared with a stock Warrior, this winter it took second in the radar run in the 400cc and under class at Lake Washington, Mn. My friends helped me, but I did almost everything myself so that made it even better. Its fun to pass a 450 thats at 3/4 throttle in 5th gear, you always get a double take. Its got a 38mm Keihin DRI carb and it never wants to quit accelerating. I think it would keep accelerating until it blows up (no rev limiter on a 95' Warrior). I am pretty sure it would hit 70, but it won't do it in 1000' at a radar run. I've got its mods listed in my profile for you doubters.

It was the second day, I think. The sand never really sticks much unless you get your quad wet first. We messed around in the woods around the dunes on the fourth day, after that it got a little dirty. Hopefully my buddy will get a CD to me with the rest of the video footage, there is some pretty good stuff on there.

Snakehunt

We were riding our sh!tty dunes yesterday and got to talking to a guy who had been. It is my understanding that a HUGE group go out and look for snakes to kill them so they dont kill the cattle. I told him I want to go AFTER the snake hunt. Screw that snake crap.

They have a rattler in a plexiglass cage that is built into the counter where you buy your wristband near the entrance to the park. We got to watch it kill a mouse. It was pretty cool. We didn't see any in the park though, not that I was disappointed about that!
