Just south about 3/4 of a mile from the New Carissa, aonther ship was found. I did get some close ups of the new found ship, some are saying that the sea wall was washed away for it to be found. We have had lots of ships beached here but this one is by far the most interesting, becouse it is made out of wood, and its not a little ship ether.

as soon as I can i will post more pic's. But it takes forever to load them up.
Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and
permanently set.

ok, you want more pic's and info. Well i can't tell you much becouse i realy don't know much about the ship. Thre still trying to find out witch ship it is. and as to the location it is Coos Bay, Oregon. You won't be able to find the extact spot on a map, sry. I do have more pics and i'm trying to load them as fast as I can, and I will put pic's of the other ship in too that I took. We have had lots of ships beached here as i said some can be seen at certen times of the year.

and I have been getting calls from people already, they want to know if you can drive a quad down to see the ship. LOL. But if you try the most you loose is the quad and get a fine.

You will notice that there are quiet a few people around the ship, most of them where trying to get out of the way when i was takin pic's but i told them that they give my pic's more realizem if they stayed and it shows how big the ship is. I just love to take pic's. here are some more and the next time i put pic's in they will be of The New Carissa.

Ok here is what The New Carissa looks like, when it was first beached we rented them about 10 to 12 quads to help clean up after they blew the ship in half and the oil leaked out and washed up on the shore, some of the New Carissa is at the bottom of the ocean up by New Port. Sorry they are not of it when it was first done but it was my first time seeing it when i got the pic's of the new beached ship. You can say I don't get around much.

I do know the dunes becouse i ride out there more then i go to town.

That is so cool! I wish I lived somewhere where shipwrecks could just wash up like that!

i would rather see the ship on the beach then have one hit are bridge agine that was bad there was a detour around the bay for over a mth when that happens. For me its like 1/2 hr just to get in to town, and i live 5 miles north of town.

casperBrittain,
Thanks for the great pictures! What a magnificent way to christen my new H/P computer!! I have never been able to enjoy all the pictures posted on this forum. The resolution on the 22" monitor is spectacular. Thanks again.
What are the plans for this ship? Hopefully it will not be vandalized and stripped.
