RE: Deer hunting

yeah im doing the same. I had a long rough night last night after work, had a house party. had to get up early cuz the girl had to work, so she woke me up... now i have to still pack everything up, go to work, and then when i get out at 11 tonight, i leave for the journey upnorth. 4 hour drive, on a packed interstate.. :( Then once i get up there, I wake everyone up, crack a beer and get ready to go out in the woods! I've got a long 48 hours ahead of me, but i can do it! Good luck to all you hunters out there, bring in the big one!!! as for me, ill be back in a week! ahhhh no work for a week, how nice can it be!?

RE: update

Update: Black 18" rims and tires on the way for spring time. I am going to need to replace the struts and shocks, so while doing that one of the guys on a kia tuning forum i go on and a few others from MA offered their help. It will be getting 1.4" drop with H&R lowering springs in addition to a short shifter kit. If money allows, maybe headers will be added by then too. I can't wait, its going to look like fireee when its lowered. also planning on painting the brake calipers. Im going to need a new bumper sticker.... "No fat chicks, car may scrape" if you lower it, do it right. get the camber kit too, otherwise you can just toss money out the window.

RE: im done riding for a while ...

yes, i was plastered. The wall, clearly is fine. the only thing that gave that night was the fence. I know what I did was dumb, not doubt about it. But i'd rather hurt me than hurt someone else for a stupid reason. but in all honesty, nothing willie says about me, my actions or my decisions in my life affect me. I don't think it make me (or anyone else) more/less of a man if they do as i did. It just shows that they've had enough. It's only the intraweb willie, you don't have to try to be some kind of mentor .. myself, and many others, just look at you as a joke not only on this website/forum, but life in general. you're like the poster child of what not to be like when we get older ;)

RE: Honda 2010 sport atv lineup

Sport sales are WAY WAY down. The local Kawi/Suzuki dealer here (First Turn) doesnt have an 09 z400 on the floor...I know because Ive been going about once a month to get a look at one for the last year. They STILL have to same 2 z400s that they did back then. I think they are 08s maybe even 07s. Theyve also got 2 YFZs they took on trade a LONG time ago...one of which my buddy looked at to consider buying close to 2 years ago. that was the same deal around here. I bought a left over 06' 450 in march ... and they had one 07' and an 08' ... then the dealership just went under. kinda sucks.

RE: im done riding for a while ...

Got pics of the X-rays? i went in for them today .. and i can honestly say im EXTREMELY lucky and impressed at what it showed. I managed not to break anything! (they are sending them to the radiologist to make sure there isn't any hairlines) Instead of fighting and ending up in jail, i punched a brick wall and some other things.. cuz im so damn smart.

RE: Deer hunting

How far are you from the "Horacohn" marsh? I don't think its spelled that way.How about Janesville or Beloit...my b-i-l used to be chief Engineer for Beloit Paper Machine. I am in racine, which is the next county south of milwaukee. Janesville is clear across the state, bout 3 hours from me. the horicon marsh is an unknown land to me, since I have never been there and i don't know anyone who has. I have heard nothing but bad things about it though. I heard the DNR there are insane, and they don't give anyone any slack about a damn thing. So I think I will pass on ever going there.. And Sorry to hear your B-i-L was the CE of Beloit paper. They never really did anything good... lolSorry,Camo..Beloit Paper Machine had the patent on the Fourdriener machine that all the paper machines use.My BIL made big bucks.:B THe Horicon marsh is a great place to duck hunt(I am told)...you scared of "Big Foot"? LOL There is no doubt he made a lot of money, Im sure he did. But as i've said in the past, i've heard nothing good about those machines ( I work in the industry) that is all hear-say though, since i've never worked on one ... I have no want to hunt that marsh, too many people, too many pricks. And yes, im very scred of big foot ... but i have a big foot myself ; )

RE: Handlebars

there are many good bars out there, and they range in size and bend. It all depends on what kind of riding you will be doing and how hi/low you want them.

RE: Deer hunting

I only have 10 acres of private, but im right across from nicolet national forest, which is huge. Im so deep in the north woods that no one else hunts it besides my party, which is good in a way, but sucks because it's such vast land. I also do some bow hunting down here in kettle moraine land that is good for producing big bucks, but it's still E-a-B

RE: Deer hunting

Opens 21st of this month. We are 3 members short due to the recession.Want be the same this year, not as much interest as has been in the past.I think there maybe only three of us there for the opening.Best mast crop I've seen in years, and will go to waste....sad state of affairs.I have never seen this nation in such a shambles....But, I will trek up to the camp and try to act like things are normal....after a couple of drinks at the campfire, all will be well.:( i hear ya man. we will be short this year as well due to the economy. Kinda sucks, but still gotta go on with the activities.

RE: holy nice weather!

We are having unseasonably warm weather in the daytime (60-70s) and normal cold weather at night (20-30s), athough just 2 weeks ago I had 3 1/2 feet of snow in my yard and had to use 4 digger just to get in and out of my driveway. Although anything above 7,000 feet has snow (I live at 5800 feet). the night time temps are normal here. in the 30's, but the day time the last few days has been warmer than normal! I just want it to get cold, but it's nice having days that stay that warm

sounds like an interesting project! I personally would love to see the traxx system in use, since I've never seen it in person yet.

RE: holy nice weather!

What is cold weather?lol We always have warm weather down here.lol normally this time of year it is 30*, and getting colder. the water temp is going down fast and in about 3-4 weeks i'd be on the river riding. It's still very possible, since they say it's supposed to be a hella cold winter for us but not a lot of snow. And since I don't have the sled anymore I'm all for the freezing of the lakes/rivers around here with no snow on them.
