RE: largest tires fit stock 09 Grizz 450?

The factory tires are 25" Maxxis lightly aggressive mud tires and it seems like I could run a little larger as long as I don't go much wider than 25"ers. A friend of mine has 26" Mudlite XTRs on his 08 Wolverine and doesn't have any problems and they are 26x10-12 in the front, so maybe I should just settle for 26". The reason I was thinking 27" would fit is because there is a guy on YouTube who has a 450 Grizzly with 28" Mudzillas but I figured he probably had spacers or something on it cause it looks like where the problem would likely be is on the inside of the tire rubbing the transmission intake piping. It just seems that when I get stuck, it's usually cause I bottomed out in the rut. Anyways, thanks for the input!

largest tires fit stock 09 Grizz 450?

I just got a new 09 Grizzly 450 and want to put 27x9-12 Mudzillas in the front and 27x12-12 in the rear. Does anyone know if they will work or would i need to put spacers or something on the front to clear the suspension and stuff for turning? I'm going to lift it after my warranty is up so i would like to go ahead and get a larger set of tires that would look right with the lift. I'm worried that if i go ahead and lift it they will void the warranty on my drivetrain and suspension. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Joel
