New parts on and looking good!

Update on winter upgrades!
Well its time to update you guys on the Raptor! First I installed a Dynatek programmable ignition and that resulted in taking out my throttle position sensor, don't ask me how it did it but I replaced it and it runs fine now!(weird) Put on new graffixs, stainless steel brake lines, all new swingarm bearings, front spindle bearings, new rear sprocket, electrosport speedometer that has a tach,clock,odometer,temp,trip, and of course a speedometer. Haven't put my new cvr hoses on, cause of course they sent me the wrong ones. Haven't ridden it yet, but I plan on it on my next day off! I'll have some pics soon! I know I'm forgetting something else I put on it.
And the greatest news of all, my girlfriend and me found out were having a boy!:B I already have his first wheeler picked out, A Raptor of course! hahaha!

Raptor help!
Hey guys! I have a problem with my Raptor! I installed a dynatek programmable ignition on my Raptor, I followed the directions the way they said to do it. Now when I started it, it won't idle. But I'm thinking its my Fuel programmer, cause on the dynatek instructions they said if it doesn't start, there is something wrong with the ignition but since it starts, could it be my fuel programmer, the reason I think that is cause I had to disconnect the fuel programmer and maybe it needs to be reset to my specs again the way I had it, but it won't stay running long enough to let me check to see if its set right or be able to change it. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, sorry! I'm confused?

Yeah I got the programmable one! Wanted to be able to tune it the way I want it. Should be fun, but might have to get info on how to program everything.

New parts in!
I ordered a dnyatech igntion, CVR blue colored raditator hoses, Stainless steel brake lines, and a Trail tech speed/tach/temp/clock computer. Should give me something to do for a little bit.
Also my girlfriend and me got to hear are babys heartbeat and see an ultrasound picture of are baby! I tell you what, seeing and hearing the baby really makes it real! And we can't wait to have it. I had no idea how bad of mood swings a pregant woman could have! wow! According to her I can't do a damn thing right! Hahaha! Oh, this is going to be a long 6 months!

Yoshurmira RS-7 Full Comp Exhaust! I have it on Raptor and love it! Sounds good, makes great power with my set up. Remember you have to get a programmer to go with any exhaust you put on a Raptor 700 otherwise it won't run right. The EFI on them only adjust for temp and altitude. And make sure you put a good air filter on too, I run a K&N filter, also never run with the air box lid off. The little bit of power (if any) gained from running with out the lid on, isn't worth a blowen motor from dirt! Just my opinion!

Woke up to -28 this morning in central MN! And the high was -7! Brrrr! And I may be from MN but I have also heard the saying "Hold my beer, and watch this!" We ended up tearing the transmisson from the motor when we landed 98 feet from where we started! In a old Grand AM Car! Wooo! What a rush! hahaha!

I have full coverge on my Raptor, which is for about $300.00 a year. I have always insured my toys. One was stolen from my yard and insurance covered everything, it was nice.

What a find!
A friend of mine picked up a 1995 Honda 300 fourtrax in mint condition! All orginal, the arms and frame don't have any scratches, plastic isn't faded or have any big scratches and is in one piece. Tires are factory with over half tread. Picked it up for 1,400 dollars from his uncle. I wish I would of found that one, some people have all the luck!

Winter blues!
I hate this time of year! Its to damn cold here and about to get worse! But in 2 weeks there is a local radar run here so I'm going to bring out the Raptor and go play for a weekend. Also to help me take care of the winter blues, I'm making a dresser for my new baby in July. Keeps me out of trouble! So what does everyone else do to take care of the winter blues?

I would say my 2001 Honda 400EX. It was a blast to ride, did everything very well! But then there was my 2004 Suzuki Z400, also a blast to ride! And now my 2006 Raptor 700, the best ATV I've owned to date! Ah heck! these are all my Favorites! :B
